In the Artist’s Words… My biggest challenge was trying to stay within the $125 stipend while creating an effect of blue fur on a prehistoric bus. The joint compound I fi nally used was a spackling success. Passengers are hand-sculpted original works, painstakingly hand painted to ensure a life-like appearance. They seem comfortable enough as they commute to various locations in prehistoric Fort Wayne.
