In the Artist’s Words… There was quite a flurry of interest while I was painting my mastodon in our gallery window. People stopped by to check out my progress. The most fun part for me was adding Whistler’s Mother. Seated in the interior of one of the homes depicted, she is located squarely on Dream o Don’s forehead and represents the permanence and stability of home life in Fort Wayne. I am proud to have been part of Mastodons on Parade.
