In the Artist’s Words… We worked together on a design Denise created. The objective was to celebrate our Don for All Seasons with brilliant and deep colors. We also wanted to equal the work on the Chicago cows and San Antonio longhorn bulls which I had seen earlier. I utilized paint and brushes in executing our plan. Adolfo did the wonderful airbrushing with help from his son, Herman. In fact, it was the help from Herman and my children (Iztaccihuatl, Palermo, and Alena) that made our don seem to come alive.
