In the Artist’s Words… Inspiration for New Hope Don came from one of the sponsor’s signature fabrics. I wanted to cover her with that print in a papier-maché technique. The bow was a real challenge to create and attach. When she was completely done, New Hope Don looked like a huge package with a bow on it! I really appreciated all the oh’s and ah’s she received at the unveiling at Headwaters Park. I am thankful to IPFW for choosing such a grand event for its 40th birthday celebration and to the community for allowing us to be so expressive.
