In the Artist’s Words… We are three friends who share a love of art and culture. When we are together, we encourage and inspire each other’s creativity. So when we heard of the Mastodons on Parade project, we knew we just had to submit a design. Our inspiration came from the artwork of Vincent Van Gogh. We love the bold, beautiful colors he used in his paintings, and we wanted to recreate them on our mastodon. We spent many cold nights and countless hours in Brian’s garage bringing Mast-Gogh-Don to life.
