In the Artist’s Words… Yes, Baby Don is definitely the largest baby born at Dupont Hospital! Of course, the creative concept for him was a birth in its own right. It came out of wanting to celebrate babies and wanting to salute the hospital’s caring staff. Most people ask, “How does that stork stay up there?” We created a structural illusion for the mastodon with that stork.
