In the Artist’s Words… It was my wife, Krissy, who really kept me motivated and inspired to finish the project on time during the cold of winter in a garage with no heat. She and I did the cloud painting together, and after that, it was done. The beast arrived in January, and I began the sanding and prep work. That took two weeks. Then it was time to mask and spray. My inspiration for the design probably came from experiences I had as a student in Florence, Italy. Nearing the deadline, I worked every night and weekend for two weeks. The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish.
