“Don at Work”

In the Artist’s Words… We set up an area in Kathy’s garage and worked on weekends over the winter to get Don at Work done. We planned on cutting him apart and repositioning his front legs with fiberglass but weren’t quite sure how to do it. Kathy just happened to run into Deb Decker, an old friend who works with fiberglass. Deb and Lesley Koenemann, a coworker, spent an hour constructing new knees for him after we prepped him for surgery. If you’re wondering why Don at Work is blue, well, we just naturally chose blue to go along with the IPFW color.
