In the Artist’s Words… The surface of our mastodon is a photographic and illustrative collage/montage of images of students in the MASTer Camp learning environment. Color bands or tints represent the four disciplines of music, art, science, and technology. It was exciting to share the camp experience while creating this mastodon and to watch as the education process tapped into each individual child’s potential, piqued interest, and generated such a great enthusiasm for learning.
