In the Artist’s Words… Dr. Dennis Tree was created in my studio at Fort Wayne ArtSource and not in my home studio for obvious reasons … he’s too big for the house. After talking to Ellen Tom, a member of the Alliance, I knew what to do. The project took about 60 hours to complete. Marge Shomo and Diane McIntosh, two other artists from ArtSource, helped with painting the topcoat colors of his scrubs and the lettering on his name label. Dr. Tree is very much a professional and reminds us that flossing is important.
