In the Artist’s Words… When first contacted about this project, I said, “No,” since I didn’t have a place to paint something that large. But once I learned that two other IPFW interior design professors were painting their mastodons in the engineering technology lab space, I asked if I could join them. I tried to paint before and after class. It was fun having the students check on my progress. I am so glad I finally said, “Yes.” I am very proud of my hometown and thankful to have been a part of this wonderful experience!
