In the Artist’s Words… We wanted to create a mastodon that showcased the history of Fort Wayne, so we decided to use real headlines that had appeared in The News-Sentinel over the years. Scoop, our affectionate nickname for Histor-o-Don, went from a plain gray statue to a bold black and white representation of a newspaper. It was a fun, hard, and creative experience for both of us.
