In the Artist’s Words… My goal was to create an Abraham Lincoln mastodon and cover him with imitation Lincoln pennies, $5 bills, and jeweling. For his top hat, I used a bucket. His bow tie is fleece, coated with fiberglass resin and bolted on. Metallic copper paint creates that “new penny” look in the sun.
