In the Artist’s Words… The trickiest part of building Mastodonny Hawks was designing the skateboard and the special base for mounting it because the skateboard had to be proportionate to Mastodonny and modified for mastodon use. Hawks is equipped with safety gear to ensure he doesn’t scrape a knee — or a trunk. He also sports a designer outfit. It’s handcrafted and made of fiberglass. Don’t expect any great tricks. This hawk is too heavy to fly.
