In the Artist’s Words… What a blast! As a working artist I am mostly drawn to create illustrations and graphics, but this was an opportunity to apply my favorite genre to a dimensional piece of public art. My wife, Lori, and I love Indiana’s flatlands and rolling hills, surrounded by corn fi elds and woods, under a bright blue sky. We native Midwesterners tried living in central Florida, but it didn’t work for us. We came “home” 21 years ago. The Hoosier Landscape is exhilarating to us.
