In the Artist’s Words… The challenge was to get the bones to stay on! We used a self-hardening clay that cured to the same texture and weight as actual bone tissue. We experimented with epoxy, gorilla glue, and double-sided foam tape. Ultimately, the material that worked best was hot glue. We used about 100 sticks. The bones were then sprayed with a fluorescent paint so that the skeleton would glow in the dark, giving the semblance of a floating skeleton!
